Hello Crafters, it’s Stacy from CraftaholicMomma today up on the Scrapping for Less blog with a cute card that is totally paper pieced.
I stamped the images onto the Bo Bunny patterned paper and then cut them out with my Brother Scan n Cut. You certainly could easily fussy cut these out as well.
I used a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide ink onto Bristol card stock to make the sky. The rest of the card was very easy to assemble. I just layered up pattern paper for the blue “lake” layer and green “ground” layer. The trees are glued down flat but the tents are popped up on foam adhesive.
I used a warm gray copic marker to give a tiny bit of shadow and dimension to the tents. I stamped the sentiment and called it good.
It makes me think of the cabin on the lake we rent for a week in mid-July up in northern Minnesota. This photo is from the front yard of our cabin. Isn’t that just paradise?
For us Minnesotans, relaxing at the lake is our idea of heaven! What is your favorite way to relax on vacation?
